What does the monthly price include?
Anchor lists unlimited visits, direct messaging, and same-day or next-day appointments for its founding memberships. Ask the practice about scheduling and communication expectations, and read your membership agreement for the exact included services.
Virtual Plus has a different structure. The published plan includes one annual in-office physical and access to discounted in-office labs. Additional in-office visits are listed at $35, and most in-office procedures at $75. Those terms should not be confused with the unlimited-visit founding memberships.
See Anchor’s care services for the types of primary care the practice offers.
How to think about your annual budget
Multiply the monthly membership price by 12 to estimate a full year at an unchanged rate. For example, an individual paying $79 per month would pay $948 in membership fees over 12 months. A family paying $249 per month would pay $2,988 over 12 months.
These are membership-only calculations. They do not include insurance premiums, outside care, or additional service charges. For Virtual Plus, 12 months at $25 is $300 before separately charged visits or procedures.
Which costs should you ask about?
- Labs, imaging, and procedures that are not included in your plan.
- Prescription costs and how medications are obtained.
- Specialist, hospital, and emergency care outside the practice.
- Any enrollment fee, cancellation notice, or billing requirement in the agreement.
- Whether your household qualifies for a family plan or separate memberships.
Anchor’s pages describe month-to-month membership with no long-term contracts. Confirm the current cancellation process and any notice requirements before you join.
Choosing a plan for your needs
Consider the care you expect to use rather than selecting solely by the lowest monthly price. A plan with separately charged in-office visits may suit a different pattern of use than a plan that includes unlimited visits.
Contact Anchor to discuss the options. If you are also comparing insurance-based care, read DPC vs. traditional primary care. Neither a membership fee nor a copay by itself represents the full cost of healthcare.
