Two different ways to access care
Primary care provides an ongoing place for routine care, prevention, and follow-up. Urgent care can address non-emergency concerns when your usual provider is unavailable. Many urgent care clinics accept self-pay patients; ask the specific clinic about prices and available services.
| Question | Anchor DPC membership | Self-pay urgent care |
|---|---|---|
| How do you pay? | A recurring monthly membership, plus any charges specified by your plan. | Typically a charge for the visit, with possible extra testing or procedure fees. Confirm with the clinic. |
| What is the focus? | Ongoing primary care, preventive care, chronic condition support, and follow-up within the practice’s scope. | Usually the immediate, non-emergency concern prompting the visit; services vary. |
| Who provides care? | Kearsty Busby, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. | Staffing varies by clinic; ask who will see you. |
| How do appointments work? | Contact Anchor to schedule and confirm availability. Founding membership features include same-day or next-day appointments. | Walk-in, online check-in, and appointment options vary. |
| Is insurance required? | No insurance is required for membership. DPC is not health insurance. | Many clinics offer self-pay visits; confirm their terms. |
Compare your total self-pay cost
A membership has a recurring cost even in months when you do not visit. A per-visit arrangement may suit someone seeking a single visit. An ongoing membership may appeal if you value continuity, included services, and access between visits. Neither is always cheaper.
Anchor publishes founding individual membership at $79/month, limited to the first 75 founding memberships, and founding family membership at $249/month. Confirm availability and current terms. Virtual Plus is $25/month and includes one annual in-office physical; additional in-office visits are $35 and most in-office procedures are $75 under that plan. Those additional-visit fees apply to Virtual Plus, not every membership.

When an ongoing primary care relationship may fit
If you want a familiar provider for preventive visits, recurring concerns, and follow-up, compare primary care practices rather than considering only an isolated visit price. Anchor emphasizes longer visits and direct provider communication. Ask about response hours, included services, and how visits work under your chosen plan.
Learn more about primary care without insurance in Greenville. If you specifically need a physician, ask about that requirement before enrolling; Anchor identifies Kearsty as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Confirm availability before traveling
Call 903.289.7882 to discuss membership, appointment availability, and whether Anchor can address your concern. The clinic is at 2701 Sunset Strip Ste 115, Greenville, TX 75402. Do not assume walk-in access or that every service is included.
Membership does not cover all healthcare expenses
DPC is not health insurance. Hospitalization, emergency care, specialist care, and other services outside the practice are separate from membership. If you have insurance, confirm its coverage rules for outside care. Without insurance, ask the outside provider about payment arrangements.
