Primary Care Without Insurance in Greenville, TX

Looking for a primary care provider without relying on health insurance for routine care? Anchor Direct Primary Care offers Greenville-area individuals and families a simpler option with transparent monthly pricing and direct access to their primary care provider.

No Insurance Required for Your DPC Membership

Direct Primary Care vs. Paying Cash at Urgent Care

Urgent care and direct primary care serve different purposes. The biggest difference is continuity: DPC is designed around an ongoing relationship with your primary care provider.

Urgent Care

Urgent care can be useful when you need treatment for an immediate, non-emergency problem and your regular provider is unavailable.

Care is generally focused on the problem that brought you in that day, and you may see a different provider each visit.

Direct Primary Care

Direct primary care is designed for an ongoing relationship with a provider who gets to know your history, health goals, and recurring concerns.

That relationship can include everyday primary care, preventive care, chronic care, follow-up, and ongoing communication.

Is DPC
Insurance?

No. Direct primary care is not health insurance. Your Anchor membership is designed to provide access to primary care services included under your membership.

DPC does not replace coverage you may need for services outside the practice, such as hospitalization, emergency care, specialist services, advanced imaging, surgery, or other major medical expenses.

You can still join Anchor if you already have health insurance. Your DPC membership and health insurance are separate.

Primary Care Without Insurance: Common Questions

Have questions about using direct primary care when you don't have insurance—or when you'd simply rather not use insurance for your routine primary care?

Can I join Anchor Direct Primary Care without health insurance?
Yes. Anchor's DPC membership does not require health insurance. You pay the practice directly for your monthly membership and receive the primary care services included in your selected plan.
Does Anchor accept or bill health insurance for membership?
Anchor does not bill health insurance for the DPC membership. Membership fees are paid directly to the practice, which allows the primary care relationship to operate outside traditional insurance billing.
Can I join Anchor if I already have insurance?
Yes. Having health insurance does not prevent you from joining Anchor. Some patients choose to maintain insurance for larger medical expenses while using their DPC membership for ongoing primary care.
Is direct primary care a replacement for health insurance?
No. Direct primary care is not health insurance. It does not provide coverage for hospitalization, emergency services, specialists, surgery, or other services outside the practice.
What types of primary care does Anchor provide?
Anchor provides everyday primary care, preventive care, chronic condition support, family care, and virtual care, along with other services described on the Care and Membership pages.
Does Anchor offer primary care for children and families?
Yes. Anchor offers family-centered primary care and membership options for families and children. Visit the Membership page for current pricing and plan details.
What if I need a specialist, hospital, or emergency room?
Those services are outside the scope of a DPC membership. Your provider can help coordinate appropriate care when needed, but direct primary care does not replace insurance or other coverage for major medical expenses.
